So today myself and a few other VM members took it upon ourselves to gain more exposure for the club, by rollin' through a parade in a very large festival in Waterford, Ontario. We had our beautiful VM girls Lizzie and Daria walking ahead carrying the large VM banner to let people know who we were basically. Thanks so much to the both of you for doin the 2 hr route via foot, and for listening to that obnoxious song from the float ahead of you for the entire duration of the parade! :P
Then rolling along behind these girls was myself, Nick in his VW Golf (I hated hearing your blowoff valve all the time, of course due to pure jealousy!), then following him was Richard in his Honda Civic Hatch (your car just keeps getting better each time I see it!), and finally we had Joe in his Dodge Neon (which is the craziest damn Neon I've ever seen in my life). Thanks to all those who attended and we lucked out with good weather all throughout and we tossed candies to all the little ones, simply out of good nature. I must have heard 1,000+ kids yelling 'Woaaaaaahhhhhhhh' or 'Niceeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee Car' for a solid 2 hrs which was kind of nice. They say that kids always give the best opinion of a car because they are not biased towards any make or model at that age, and they just know what looks good. I also got to watch people in total awe as their jaws dropped open watching our 2 gorgeous VM models leading the pack.Well enough story telling and on with the pics.. basically all of them were done AFTER the parade was over as it was somewhat difficult to take them otherwise as we were constantly on a move (except the pic of Lizzie's ass.. hehe). Daria's is just as nice.. trust me.. but I didn't ask her permission to post yet! ) All of the cars got crazy attention and I think we probably got a few extra hits on the site over the next few days if I had to guess! Cheers. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ------------------ 2000 Toyota Celica GT - Slightly modified... hehe 2006 Toyota Matrix XR - Not a bad li'l daily driver My other homes: C7Performance & Matrix Owners |

Thanks for the invite Scott.
It was definetlly something different to do, all the kids were supper excited to see us roll thru and i could see everyone start singing whatever song we were playing. The best part was that we didn't have to walk like most of the rest of the ppl in the parade. ------------------ Nick | 2001 Golf 1.8T | www.mygolfiv.com | www.hpaddicts.com | Need Cheap Hosting ?? www.WEJhosting.com $50/Year |

I had loads of fun Scott, thanks for inviting us out! It was great spending time with Daria (of course!, i love herrr!), you, Nick, Drew (who came out to support us!), and everyone I met yesterday! (Joe, BJ, Richard, ect!)
Besides my leg wanting to be ampuated after due to some poor blood circluation, and being tortured by the float infront of us (they were playing who let the dogs out, over and over again!).. It was great seeing all the kids yell for the cars and being excited to see us! I also had some intresting things yelled at me... but it's all good! haah It's good we gto to throw candy at the haters too. Was it some old lady that said they use cars like ours for winter beaters in Windsor?! ahahahhah |

Yeah we all had a great time basically just chillin' and getting to show off our rides that we've got so much work into. Maybe next year we'll swing it once again seeing as how well it all went together. This was my first time planning a VM event and I must say I had a great time.
