go-karting anyone??

Would anyone be up for going go-karting at Erbsville(or anywhere else, if theres suggestions).

I want somewhere good though, not like Sportsworld where you can floor it the whole way around.

Here's what Erbsville has to offer:

Group Rates (Applies to 6 - 9 Riders. incl. GST)
12 minutes.........................................$ 13.00
24 minutes.........................................$ 24.00

Group Rates (Applies to 10 or more Riders. incl. GST)
12 minutes.........................................$ 12.00
24 minutes.........................................$ 22.00

Bulk Laps - 60 laps.............................$110.00
Add Mini-Golf.....................................$2.00 ea

Track Rental
(includes 12 karts, additional karts available)

Half Hour.............................................$ 315.00 ......additional karts: $24 ea.
Full Hour.............................................$ 575.00 ......additional karts: $42 ea.

Additional Hours..................................$ 525.00
Free Mini Golf with half-hour rental or more!

Just of note... With 12 people going, 24 minutes each is a total of $264, so its $50 cheaper to do that than rent the whole track. Keep in mind everyone gets an additional 6 minutes by renting the track...

With 12 people going for 72 minutes, it would be a total of $792, or $120 more than renting the track for an hour. Everyone would get 12 extra minutes by not renting the track this way.

Cost wise, spread out over 12 people there isn't much of a difference to rent the track out, or just go as a group. The only difference being that we could potentially run into problems with availability without renting the track.

If theres interest I'll call and find out more info, as well as plan the whole thing.

And lets do the 12 cars, for half hour rental thing.

THAT WOULD BE AWESOME

I am game for that:

I'm game too, why not a full hour though? Half hour per person is: $26.25, full hour per person is: $47.91. Just a thought, I'm game for either.

i think after half an hour you'll be ready to stop.. last time we went 30 mins was more than enough.

what about going to hamilton or something for some higher power carts?

erbsville isn't that quick but i'd still be down.

Formula Kartway is the best place to go for tracks cause they have a road course and a ovel both ready a pimpin good time :tounge:
and pro kart is good cause they use the same chassis i race (Birel) out of italy
but if you guys want i can check in to forumla kartways prices
last i went with a groupe we did
2 20 sessions on the road course(which seems long but it isn't)
4 heats to get your points on the ovel
then
the top ten raced for the championship on the ovel
then the lower ten raced for fun on the ovel
the last two races were 20 minutes it was amazing
oh ya and i beat everyone i work with (maybe i have done this go karting thing before)

Is there a date or did I miss it?

I have mega interest, but my attendance depends on the date.

I'm always up for driving something faster than my car :tounge:

This is where you type a bunch of shit about how awesome your car is. FACT: It's been scientifically proven that the more shit you write in here the less cool your car is. Nine times out of ten the majority of people who talk shit down here don't even have any of the crap they talk about on their car. I drive an 8 year old domestic and barely give two shits about it. I beat the hell out of it and it begs for more, just like your girlfriend. Go ahead, cut me off. I dare ya.

they have a race club there.. the track can be changed to suit their needs from a giant oval to a circuit.
