Do they actually emit a blue light? As many bulbs are painted blue, and then emit a White light.

Drive up to a wall and place a bright yellow item infront of it, turn on your bulbs, and if that yellow item looks blue purple or brown, then your bulb is definately too blue.

The most "blue" i've seen is on the 5 series BMW...and that is a pretty strong BLUE. Maybe you could compare with one.

I had a pair of them blue coated headlights at one point. They wern't too blue, but they did look cool. Never was hasseled before. As for light output, they sucked so bad. Couldnt even see at night, especially on the dark stretch of Highway 8 after fairview mall.

I got Sliverstars now, excellent bulbs.

Alex you are wrong on that one. sylvannias are LEGAL 110%
They even come w/ a paper for you to keep in your glove box. They are approved by the ministry of transportation (or whoever) as legal headlight bulb replacement

I'd hope they last more than a year. I don;t have Daytime runners, so that helps my bulbs last. Havent had a bulb burn out since i had my civic.

not worth the cash.. i wanna try the PIAA's

if that fails i'll go back to my 5$ ebay bulbs... they were "blue" but just slightly...

looked clean.

Although Blue is illegal, it is looked down less apon the authoritys. They really crack down harder on say Red and green lights for some reason?? that what a few Police officers told me when I was shooting the shit with them in KW!

GAH! I don't see how thats possible! It's physcially not possible to see better with a bulb with a coating on it! But glad you like the look!
