Insurance Companies

I know theres another post on here about them, but this is different.
Im thinkin of starting up a petition or getting ideas from you guys what you think we can do about this issue. Im thinkin of postin on all kinds of boards for car clubs in ontario about this, because, face it, our cars are the new trends, and we are the future and will have to pay for all these old baby boomers pensions and shit, so why should we get screwd by insureance.

I've also read on other boards, that places like Quebec, give discounts for products that make your car safer, like roll cages, better tires, better shocks ect.

So what do you guys think?

Ya no offence but this is a never ending battle with insurnace companys. If we had any presidence to stand on then it would be ok. Until some one steps up and makes an example of the insurnace then they will do anything and everything they want.

See, they could eventually tell you that if ur car is modified in any way not to drive it on the streets, well, guess wat?! that wont apply to me, ill drive and drive til i get caught, cause its the stupidest (i duno if thats a word or not, it is now, haha), but yea, like in europe you're allowed to modify your car, but it still has to pass certain tests and insurance would slightly go up a bit. So if theres a petition out there, ill be the first one to sign it for sure,. and one more thing,. :fuckyou: Co-operators!!! Thank you!

My "Other" board has a forum dedicated to this. A lot of info has been gathered and you might want to check it out as there is some good info in it. You don't have to register for that forum either......

It's called the Modified car insurance project. Found in the message forums

What do you mean by that?? The government doesn't run insurance companies here, so they don't make any money off of them, except for usual business expenses like taxes.

Private insurance means that it is run and owned by private(non-government) companies.

If they make it public, then its government run and will be MUCH cheaper.

No one really focused on public car insurance except for NDP and that wasn't even one of their big issues. They focused mostly on public hydro, which they talked about way too much in my opinion.
Liberals are basically the compromise between PC and NDP. It's not a matter of who you want in office, it's who you think won't f**k up the most. Damn governments, go anarchy! lol

Insurance is the biggest rippff there ever is. We pay out our ass for coverage, and unfortunatly when the times comes when we need to make a claim we get peanalized by the company with higher rates or the threat to drop coverage!

Why do we pay for somehting we cannot use!

But anyway, good luck on your quest to change this, as you're gunna need all the luck you can get!
