Insurance Companies for Modded Cars

Possible sticky?

My lease is up on my car, and I am now looking for insurance companies..I started with Bel-Air but they were going to take 30 days to process....Then I went to RBC and said I had only lowered my car....denied right away...

Which brings me to the next question...is there any companies out there that specialize in custom cars? Or any other insurance companies that have a quick turn around time? Hoping to get insurance put on by the weekend...

Im insured both my cars with full mods disclosed to the Aviva group. They even gave me a road side care package with camera, flashlight, pen, paper and a quick change pay phone card. Great group. Oh and the insurance is less than anywhere else by like 15% for me.

I just had to get both of my cars appriased before hand. Which was like $150 or so.

bel air direct .. (y)
so far so good, but the car hasnt been lowered or aftermarket rims ..
$$ goes up if stereo or mods total each more then 1500.00 then u get bumped up in the sporty car categories.

mines number 10 on the scale so far .. and im guessing ferrari/lambos are #1 lol

Tim, try Cowan Insurance brokers. They use Aviva and might even get u a better rate then calling them direct. (But do call them direct too.)

I found State Farm very good... but my agent is retired, and I'm afraid to see how the new person is. I enjoyed it because I had 24 hour access to an actual person, and it was the same all the time.

Call Ostic Insurance and tell them you want to speak to a Pafco rep. It's who I am through and I got fairly cheap insurance. GL

Pafco has been great for me. It's cheap compared to the rest, and I actually understand my policy. That being said though, I'm leaving as soon as my high risk insurance is off!
