+1 for Belair Direct, they gave me an amazing rate. Its my first time under my own insurance and they were $2000/yr cheaper than the next closest quote I got!

Belair Direct is 150% more expensive than my current company for myself. $2600/year vs $900/year. Try to shop around a bit!

Through Bel Air I got 1500/yr vs. 3-4000/yr. I would also like to know what company you're with Avenger. My dad's coming up to renewal time soon and I think he's going to be shopping after seeing what I got.

I like the Aviva group. $2000 a year for both my cars with clean driving record.

I was with Pilot Insurance and was paying about 900/yr for full coverage on my 97 GSR before it was stolen - it even had a seperate policy on the body kit and rims at the time

I've heard Pilot is cheap. I just try to steer as many people away from Belair as I possibly can, they were screwing me badly, thank god I dropped them!

Yes, I found some companies that were $4k - $5k / year on my R/T when I first bought it......and Belair was $2200. So I went with Belair. The problem was that over time, as the car got older, as I got older......my rates went up, not down. Eventually I shopped around a bit......found some amazing rates with other companies (Johnson through the Conestoga Alumni association), and I've heard Pilot is quite cheap as well.

I'm gonna say $2800 is a bit high, especially considering that a 2-door Accord is a VERY cheap car to insure......I mean dirt cheap. Same price as a Beetle or a Dakota

its a bit high ? I dunno i did so many darn quotes just before getting the car. Many companies quoted me close to 4000 +. And that woudl be only if i got my dad to change companies aswell. On my own many were at 5000+ so i thought 2800 was cheap. We have 3 cards a civic transport and the accord im primary on the accord and occasional on the other two. my dad is the one who owns them all on paper aswell.

What company you think would be cheaper than this ? OR better yet which insurnace co are you with?

Damn, I got quotes on a brand new $25k Accord Coupe when I was 21......and I was looking at $160/month. On a brand new $9995 Crapalier I was looking at $235/month to give you an example.

$2800/year is stupid cheap for a 19 year old with a G license these days. i don't know what you're smoking Avenger, but i'd like some. Insurance quoates change, depending on the car's make model and year, your age, sex, home address, how much u drive, your driving record, and any mods done to the car.

So you'll have to go to an Insurance Broker and have them do quotes for you, that will show u all companies that will insure you, and for how mmuch. then u remember what companies u liked, and call them directly, and i found that lowered the prices

I've heard Pilot is decent. I've heard BelAir is good, but they don't insure many young drivers, Mike worships Aviva, and I'm with Economical, which isn't too bad

Nobody will ever have the same rate as another person. There are pluses and minuses to each insurance company. I pay a little more at State Farm, but it's saved my butt. They are actually there when you need them, and if your parents are there, have them put a blanket coverage on everything for 1-2 million and then you only have to pay for $300,000 liability rather than the 2 million and will save yourself about $200 a month.

My uncle is a broker, and couldn't touch the rates I got with CIBC/Certas, Belair Direct, and now Johnson.
