Finally Passed/Rant ....
My G road test for my whole liscence.
all is good but, WhyTF is the second go around marked so harshly, nobody should have to do this pitifully designed and enforced test more than 2 times or once, like how bad do u have to be, i feel if the instructor doesnt feel safe with u driving u fail and if they survived and made it to the center in one piece u get to pass. IMO i think the government needs to be LESS strict on newer drivers, and MORE strict on OLDER drivers as they didnt get the training we have... just sick of so many companies and such giving young male drivers bad wraps... i wanna know how the hell all the cabbies got their liscences !! commeon gimmie a break .. they should also reduce the frigging cost for the test as well, 75 fcukin dollars.. what are u paying towards I WANT TO KNOW WHERE THE MONEY GOES ! . if anyone can shed light for me im all ears ! glad i passed, but i dont think i deserved a fail the 2 prior times one bit. ------------------ \X/ Ryan L. \X/ 94 Vdub Golf 2.0L = slow, sort of . -too much stuff to list here, so i took all the stuff off my sig. |

well your paying for the ticket, 2 your paying for their time (would u want somneone who faisl every single time to be costing tax money?), and 3 the driving tests aren't that hard, if you can;t pass them then you shouldn't be driving

i wonder though if they fail some people sometimes just because they need to meet a quota or something, I mean if everyone passed would it look bad on them, as if they weren;t doin their job?

Wow, if you can't pass the G road test you don't belong in a car. We got it easy here. Go to Europe and pass one of their driving tests.

no they failed me due to some bullshit traffic violations i nver heard of ..
the second time some of it said speeding like 5 kms -15 kms over, and that was because of the FLOW OF TRAFFIC, i had to or idda gotten rear ended .. i think its horse crap and i do beleive they have to meet a quota because they walked away from me after the test like i was a piece of shit, a nobody, like they even gave a dam about me .. their there to get paid and thats IT .. they are very selfish ppl i think anyways .. ------------------ \X/ Ryan L. \X/ 94 Vdub Golf 2.0L = slow, sort of . -too much stuff to list here, so i took all the stuff off my sig. |

I couldn't reverse park into my spot correctly at the end and touched the line. I was like shit i faield but i passed. I thought any speeding woulda failed you. The examiner even mentioned i was speeding on the ramp. lol |

isnt the speed on the on ramp a "suggested" speed anyways? maybe im wrong but thats what i was taught in driver training back in the day...
i think im going to do a refresher course just because they tell you exactly waht to expect and i have soooo many bad habits, so many especially since i have my own car im scared for it so bad though because i hear more people fail it than pass it on their first attempt ------------------ Jackie 2002 Mazda Protege |

The worst part about the G test is driving with your hands at 10 and 2 again
It's the exact same junk as before, 3pt turn, parallel park, etc etc. Just make sure if you have an mtx not to shift during an intersection unless it's a long one or you absolutely have to, and always be in gear as long as you're moving. Don't forget with highway merging if you're not going at least 90 when you merge you get points taken off. And overexagerate your mirror checks and shoulder checks so they can see you're doing it. I had no trouble passing it, but more importantly my sister had no problem passing it Matt ------------------ This is where you type a bunch of shit about how awesome your car is. I drove standard for 2 1/2 years but i never used a standard for my road test that is stupid to think if u can't pass in a standard u shouldn't drive one cuz you gotta shift a certain way / turning corners going through an intersection who cares evryone is different i hate driving auto manual is the best way to go but they would prolly fail me in a standard cuz of my driving habbits and just cuz they say its wrong don't mean F$$KING shit cuz u can't judge wether or not they have enough experience just cuz they're not driving the way u tell them to i think learning to drive a standard when u first get ur liscence is the best cuz then u can drive almost anything.

True but if someone who has been driving stick for 30 years has to go take a road test and fails cuz they didn't shift properly does that mean they don't have enough experience to drive manual . ------------------ 93 geo metro 13.6 @106mph |

This is funny. The driving instructor doesn't care. He gets paid the same if you pass or not. You have to do everything on the checklist properly. If you can't do it properly or think your own way is better and don't do it the way it's supposed to be done you loose marks. Surprise surprise, it's just like a highschool test (or grade school for some of you). Loose enough marks and you fail. Plain and simple.
