Help! MTO messup?
Ok. Here's the situation. I've been lookin for some new insurance quotes and well it's supposed to drop next month because of my speeding ticket coming off. Well State Farm did a background check on my licence and heres where its messy.
I KNOW I got my first ticket in december of 2003. I'm 99% sure. I was comin home from a movie on boxing day or day after can't remember EXACTLY. Anyways, I got my second ticket last year in August I believe. Now..the check showed that I received and payed both tickets in 2005. I know this is wrong, whether I'm off by a month or not. How would I go about proving and fixing this? I don't have the receipts for these as far as I know either. Any help would rock ![]() ------------------ '96 Ford Ranger XL 4-BANGER 5-SPEED BABY '93 Dodge Colt - Winter Beater |

that sucks. DID you pay cash, debit or visa. I'm sure your bank would still have the transaction with the amount if it's debit or Credit card.

i'd think unless you have some kind of receipt or something you are probably out of luck for fixing it
always keep your receipts for important stuff like that from now on, you never know when a situation like this will pop up ![]() ------------------ Jackie 2002 Mazda Protege |

Can you try contacting the police force that actually gave you the ticket - they should have that info on their computers

^ That's what I was thinking. I believe they have all your tickets on file so that when u go in they can review your record.. once u get their copy, ask for a photocopy, go to the ministry or whomever to have it amended.
don't quote me on that though, but to me that makes the most sense. |
