Anyone Else Notice The Amount Of Police On The Roads?

In the last 48 hours Ive been seeing police everywhere on the roads. Like 10X more than normal. For example on the way into work the last 2 days Ive seen 6 cars pulled over and about 4 cruisers on the highway. Also have seen 4 cars pulled over on the way back from work in the last few days.

Ive seen them a lot in the area and just wondering if its me or not.

Yup.. lots of them on the road getting their tickets worth for the winter. Happens every fall or early winter. Drive carefully and you'll be okay.

It's cause it's the end of the month. Count the number of any cops you see in the last week of Nov. vs. the first week of december. I did this during the summer, a 3:1 ratio was found...sad. Every end of the month it gets crazy with cops, makes up for the slacking (well actually, they wait for people to get comfortable with speeding again, then they blitz and catch a lot more).

Agree, but not necessarily always the end of the month. When I was driving between Brantford and Kitchener it was almost gaurenteed a that around the 15th of every month you would see the cops out at their usual locations.

Went out today and TBPD and OPP were all over the road like a bad rash.

This is where you type a bunch of shit about how awesome your car is. FACT: It's been scientifically proven that the more shit you write in here the less cool your car is. Nine times out of ten the majority of people who talk shit down here don't even have any of the crap they talk about on their car. I drive an 8 year old domestic and barely give two shits about it. I beat the hell out of it and it begs for more, just like your girlfriend. Go ahead, cut me off. I dare ya.

Who cares end of the month not end of the month blitz/ no blitz. You should be following the damn rules at all times. I don't give a flying fuck about anyone and the rude stair downs I get for doing the limit.

I don't know why people give me the finger or fucked up face for obeying the speed limits. No one should be speeding in the first place. Its not ok to do 60 in a 50 period.

The only way anyone will learn is when they get a ticket and insurance hike. Like me.

What I find rather intriguing is their whole battle plan that they use for such blitzes. They do their usual thing, and look for street racers, and pull over modded cars but seem to overlook the mom in her minivan, literally FLYING right passed me, with a van full of younger children. I'm currently in the process of planning a documentry that outlines this issue, and the issue of really shitty drivers all together, and hopefully I can give it some publicity when I am done.

I agree with Andrew here, I always see a minivan with a mom driving and half the time NOT paying attention to the road Fly past me! I NEVER speed, (ok hardly ever) and there are people that can verify this! I alwasy obey all the signs, and what not! and this is perhaps why I have NEVER been pulled over in my new car? Its not fully modded, but if it were Im sure I would be harrassed all the time! regardless...

The Holiday drinking and driving crackdown begins this Wednesday and is lasting till the beginning of January, so you will see lots of rides and cops around.

Yeah me too, I was literally idling down my street and people were yelling at me. Ever since i started driving the SUVs no one gives a fuck how fast im going, or how loud my car is..

Not really. I drive a LOT for work and I haven't seen an unusual number of police yet this fall at all. I've seen a few but no more than I usually do in my travels. Or maybe just the Guelph/Halton Hills is not as patrol'd as heavily as K/W/C
Works for me
