Ya need to check that shit... You hear a little peice of the puzzle in the news and think you know enough to make some dumb ass comment like that. What you and people like you so easily forget is that why you are at home looking out the window thinking "I'm not going to drive in this weather", the police officer doesn't have a choice.
And before you say 'well he didnt have to be doing radar if the roads were bad'; alot of the time when police are conducting speed enforcement its as per orders and not by their own choice.
And while I am on this rant, you should consider that when an officer gets into an accident its treated and investigated far more severely than a civilian accident. What I mean by that is that the officer does not get given any breaks, their is no 'discretion' used when considering a charge, its pretty much that if grounds exist for a charge the officer gets charged regardless. Also their are many other internal procedures and consequences the officer is subjected to as a result of the collision, regardless of how minor it was.

And last but certainly not least, those two officers involved in that particular collision are friends of mine who sustained some pretty significant injuries and as a result have not been back to work since the collision.

So its not so "LOL" after all.

News reports 'no charges were laid and the names of the officers weren't released.

Is that an accurate statement?

only reason i said that because on the highway going up to blue mountian i hit some black ice and when mr opp came to see why i ended up in the ditch, i told him that " hey i hit some black ice and the car went side ways"

i got a nice roll of the eyes, told to sit in the bad of the crusier while they determind if i was a threat or not... and than to tell me that there was no black ice and asked

1) was i drinking
2) was i smoking up
3) was i on a cell phone

than to have my parents buick regal seached for any alcohol or drugs while i sat patiently in the back .. might i add.. there was no damage to my moms car.. it was just in the ditch and need to be towed out

but nope.. black ice is just a genaric excuess according to them.. i was just a kid that was not paying attention

i get a careless driving ticket .. and we will just leave it at that

im sorry for ur friends complications.. and do apologize for the 'LOL'
but

since i was treated like some gangbanger if u will for saying that i hit black ice and lost control.. than im just doing the samething that i was accussed of

being a bad driver

now i wasn't there at ur friends accident.. i just heard it on the radio and it just triggered something in my head durring said situation stated above.

im not here to arguee.. im not here to insult and make fun of the officers ( your friends) that were involved in the situation.

one idiot with a loud muffler on a civic spoils the entire bunch .. forcing many to be pulled over and yes, harrased.

than one cop.. giving me a hard time about 'black ice' would ruin any cop having an accident chasing down someone hitting black ice and loosing control of there police intercepter

i wanna become a police officer because of who they are.. what they represent, and what they stand for..

i just had that bad experence with that one particular police officer that i wanted to reply to Spocs comment from my; and i will admit, rude and very childish post

I still think when a cop crashes it makes me LOL, I seen a cop rear end a tractor trailer 4 months ago back home, smashed dead onto it.. I actually opened my window and laughed at him, and drove on!

then he found out who I was and gave me shit, he was one of my old man's good buddies... oops.

I think the majority of cops in this town are young, and are on superman super power trips? does that make sense? brainwashed I tell ya!

I find most "older" cops ALWAYS treat me way more respectfully..

Why does the public never hear the results of these investigations? How many cruisers were destroyed last year alone running red lights? There needs to be an outside department to start correcting some of the crap that people get away with.

Sorry to hear about your friends but I find it hard to believe that the car they were chasing made it through without wrecking and they didn't. Get the plate and wait for him at home, no need to do mach 1 on city streets

there was already other officers there assisting the cop who was doing "mach 1" in a small rural area chasing 12 year old kids... (yes thats what happened)

In simcoe, OPP have nothing else to do but to pick on drunks at 2AM, or go after little kids.. or "ricers" trust me.

however the town is a big CRACK town, as far as I know now... so they've upped the OPP over there for a good cause at least.

I was washing my truck in the parking lot on weber st. across from eastwood today around 12:00. I saw atleast 10-15 shit-bag rice jobs just peeling down weber right infront of the school over a 1 hour period. Thats probably one of the reasons the cops are out in force right now. Just because you pull your summer car out of storage and the weather is nice doesnt mean the city streets become race tracks. I spend alot of time everyday driving from job to job, and since the weather got nicer I've noticed there are alot of people driving stupid. Alot of street races at intersections aswell.

alot of the "modified" cars I've been seeing around town dont look very safe ontop of this.
Oversized spoilers not attached properly, fart cans held up by mechanics wire, hitting the road over all the bumps, its shit like that that gives everyone with a modified car a bad name. And the cops dont care, I think they are gonna pull over all the modified cars they see now.

I heard a Harley go by today at work and the anger already started to build! That is one thing about summer (maybe the only thing) I hate. Fuck! Why the hell can't the MTO write something into the HTA about THOSE fuckin' things!!! I'd rather listen to a fart can exhausted Civic ALL DAY than to be forced to listen to a fly-by of ONE Harley!

Talk about frakkin' annoying! Jesus H Kee-riste!

techincally harley's do follow the same laws as cars, so an unneccessary noise ticket can happen. but you see, on a highway, its harder to see a bike than a car, personally i'd rather have the bike super loud so i can hear it so that way i can know where it is

I think is has something to do with the fact that a cop is more likely to get the shit kicked out of him by pulling over a harley with pipes than some ricer in a beaten up civic. Seriously, how many hells angels do you see riding in riced out civics.

That's just what I think though...

------------------
This is where you type a bunch of shit about how awesome your car is. FACT: It's been scientifically proven that the more shit you write in here the less cool your car is. Nine times out of ten the majority of people who talk shit down here don't even have any of the crap they talk about on their car. I drive an 8 year old domestic and barely give two shits about it. I beat the hell out of it and it begs for more, just like your girlfriend. Go ahead, cut me off. I dare ya.

you really think cops are scared of the Hells angels comeon and to not pull over a bike at the chance of it being a Hells angel is just a stupid thing to say.

Its true there are sooo many ugly riced out pos out there that are not safe. I have noticed alot of cops out latly but I havnt been bugged at all.. Its all how you drive.. the nice weather does not mean your allowed to race at stoplights and bounce your car off limiter all the time..

But in my SiR and on my bike I dont even get a look from the cops ever.. and my bike is kinda loud.. they dont seem to bug bikes for mufflers tho.. Unless your cruzing through town at 12,000 RPM...

i hope there is sarcasm there.

a police officer travelling alone will not pull over a pair of bikers that are wearing any sort of gang colours. why would they? for officer safey they will call for backup. thats like taking a fake knife to a gun fight.

stating that, i have also seen 2 police officers pull over and inspect 30+ hells angel's in full colours on the 400 once. plus, being such a high profile gang, the hells angel's USUALLY are cooperative when being pulled over on their bikes. its behind the scenes where they commit the crimes against the police.

and a couple times a year... there are several police stationed at either end of Conservation road near erbsville raceway.... They seem to keep an eye on whats going into and out of the hells angels gathering.

When I moved.. I took a u-haul through that section of road. I wasn't surprised when my load was inspected. But... I didn't think I "looked" much like the guys on the bikes wearing colors.

I suppose... you never know who is an angel when they aren't wearing any colors.

I believ
