Cops are out like crazy!!!

Wow, so today at work

I saw this modified integra, white.. jdm front end lip kit etc, very clean looking.. pulled over on hespler road with this chick cop checking the car out, 10 mins later.. I see this same cop that pulled over a white subie wrx slammed with some sort of aftermarket spoiler but suited the car well, this cop had a stick out and was checking something beside each wheel of the car!?!??!?!?!

so as I was leaving for work, i saw this SAME cop that pulled over a civic that was kind of cheesy looking doing the EXACT same thing!!

anyways, I just got back from my buddies friends SICK shop, and wow.. I seen so many cops pulling over people on victoria it was crazy!

any idea whats going on? or is this just an ongoing trend? remember I'm new to kitchener, so I don't see stuff like this to often!

Speaking of increased enforcement.... Has anyone heard anything about the new legislation regarding 'street-racing' supposedly comming into effect???

If she was beside the car checking something, maybe they're enforcing ride height?

Last time I checked there's no regulation in the HTA regarding ride height.

Looks like it's time to go buy a baffled muffler. Then I'd be untouchable, which it looks like I'll need to be this summer.

This is where you type a bunch of shit about how awesome your car is. FACT: It's been scientifically proven that the more shit you write in here the less cool your car is. Nine times out of ten the majority of people who talk shit down here don't even have any of the crap they talk about on their car. I drive an 8 year old domestic and barely give two shits about it. I beat the hell out of it and it begs for more, just like your girlfriend. Go ahead, cut me off. I dare ya.

its funny.. when i worked construction alot of the workers would be drinking in there trucks , back hoes skid steers whatever and go home

so instead of pulling over modified cars and handing out tickets such as improper something or another

just pull over random pick up trucks that look like they have been on a construction site.. and i will be that u will have a few DUI's in mid afternoon durring the week..

that being said.. i haven't seen any modified cars pulled over today

it's easier to hand out BS tickets to kids that will probably just pay them rather then fight it

The HTA states that no part of the body can be below the bottom lip of the rip of the car. Just print out a copy of the HTA and keep it in your car under your seat or something. When you get pulled over pull it out and have it ready to talk to the police about it. They hate it, but there is nothing they can do when the facts are put in their face. Well they can still give you a ticket, but atleast you know you are right.

that was my exact thought. she was looking to see if the offset of the tires would rub against the fenders.
power trip?? i doubt it, doing her job? exactly.
its spring and all the douchebags driving heatbags will be out. i'm happy to see that they are trying their best to get them off the streets.
i do about 60,000km driving a year and the fewer dangerous cars on the road the better IMO. its amazing what you will see out there (not just mod'd cars either).

welcome to spring ladies and gents

I haven't heard anything about new street racing legislation this year.... last year yes.

Though.. last night on the regional news.. they were discussing our tax allocation. More of it will be going to policing... I thought we were doing pretty good as far as number of police goes. Well... that's only what I see on the roads. Maybe they need more for something else. I didn't hear "why" more money is going to policing.
