this is one of those things that regardless of the rules, some police will pull you over. as far as I remember, theres random information on colours to stay away from, but doesn't necessarily target the underglow ... either way, on a slow night for an officer, drawing attention to yourself with these lights can cause you a ticket ... sure you could try and fight it in court ... but why go through the hassle? I'm sure having white underglow would be the absolute safest against targeting ... stay away from the reds, blue, bright colours ... unless, it's for strickly "show" purposes and not driving around town.

^^^first of all, I wasn't very far off with what category I had it in.......because this also does fit under exterior lighting.....
Second of all, sorry I missed that post.......but after reading it over, I don't see where it says anything about underglow...all it talks about is turn signal lighting and different colours on the front of the car.... Third, if it makes me a ricer then I don't give a shit, I like it, and that's all there is to it. You guys, make it hard to ask questions around here, everytime you ask a question, it comes with a shitty remark, that makes the person feel like shit. |

Dan, I was pulled over with my Red neons before. What I was told straight from the OPP's mouth was:
You cannot have any colour other then white or amber visible from the front of your vehicle (Green = Volunteer Firefighter, Red = police, Blue = Snowplow, Purple = Ghey Pride) You cannot have any colour other then Red, White or Amber howing from the back of your car, as those are stock colours from your tail lights. You CAN however, have any colour you'd like visible from the side of your car. That's my understanding of it. And BTW, Dan, You will shatter your tubes in less then one season. Our roads and parking lots are not build for Street Glow. It's not a feesible mod. Cheap out and they shatter on the first ride. Ball out and you shatter several hundreds of dollars on your second ride. |
