Cause his views and comments are diffrent then his. You know this is a grammar and etiquette forum! To Sum up the story, the guy outruns the cops by jumping a fence and the cops are viewed as lazy to this individual as he feels they only care about the donuts.

What! What! did someone call?!?? I was too busy eating donuts, circling the block, writting run on sentances made of single letter words, and using 'LOL' over and over !!!

To the author of this thread: So you knew what the suspect looked like and which way he took off on foot but didn't think this was important information to tell the police? Obviously, by your own statements, the police didn't know which way the guy ran off, but you thought it would be smarter to keep the information to yourself so you would have a marginally humours, and poorly written, story to post on VM? Maybe if you had informed the police the direction of travel of the suspect they wouldn't have had to resort to containment and a canine search (that would have been all those "fucking cruisers all over the place at intersections")...And who were you calling an idiot?

Also, maybe I missed something, but what relevance does this thread have to do with a car enthusiast web site?

^ HAHAHAHA! I love donoughts too. I wish I was a cop darn life took me the other direction.

Oh...doesn't this kind of mean hes an accomplice as he aided the perp to get away by not informing the authorities of pertinent information? I use big words...just curious?

Unfortunately NO. It just means he's like one of those rubber-neckers on the 401 at rush hour who slow down to look at an accident scene : their eyes open, the brain shuts off, and a small amount of drewl escapes from the corner of their slack jawed open mouth.

^ Oh, I always thought this would kind of be obstructing justice by not providing relevant information. I guess nobody really asked him for the information. As a citizen, if you see someone robbing a person and don't do anything to help, you should be held accountable. IMO. Maybe I've played to many RPG games hahahaha

It would only be obstructing justice/police if you actually did something to help the person escape or mislead the police. ie: told the cops he jumped in another car when he actually was running on foot. Or more commonly, you give the police a fake name of a drunk buddy because you think it will stop him from getting charged for being intoxicated in public.

And just so I dont get acussed of being a hypocrit: I know this is way off topic.

wow i'm glad SPOC got to this thread before i did, my post would not have nearly been as funny as his.

to the original poster. you bash the cops now, but wait until something happens to you and you need them. you expect them to come running right away right? what if they didn't see the way the guy ran, and the WITNESS didn't tell them.

Karma is a bitch. wait until it bites you in the ass.
