John Sleeman burned!

guelphmercury.com | News Update

Familiar name is 'speeder of the week'

John Sleeman faces a June court date after an OPP officer observed a vehicle travelling at 148 kilometres per hour on the Hanlon Expressway last week.

The vehicle, a 2007 Bentley, was heading northbound at about 12:50 p.m., when it was spotted by the officer.

The posted speed limit in the area is 80 kph. The OPP issued a release today describing the drivers as its Speeder of the Week.'

John W. Sleeman, 53, of Oakville, is to appear in court on June 20 on the charge.

See, even if you can afford a car like that, there's nowhere to let it stretch its legs.

Just think of how many modified civics that would buy

Apparently he gets speeding tickets all the time. He drives a Ferrari out of there once in a while too, except this is one of the "big" tickets I guess. Sooner or later he won't be able to drive.

Hes a good guy. One day suprised the whole plant and shut it down! Only to take them to Buffalo in a rented bus for the Bills game. The bus was too full so he took some people in his Bently. He parked it illegally and it was towed and messed up a rim in Buffalo.

And he has a pool in his backyard shaped like the Sleeman bottle. Pretty cool!

He's not that good of a guy if he's making people work Sundays. Hardly news worthy. People speed everyday.

The drinking public wants their BEEEERRR BEEEEER BEEEEEEEEER!!!!

Summer time is profit time so I imagine they're trying to crank out as much as they can to maximize profits.

After all, if a customer wanting sleeman can't get it they may try (and like) something else and some customers are stuck on a brand for life... imagine the lost revenue.
