I can't believe this - We sure live in a great society where you can do whatever the hell you want if you're a cop.

thats fucking horseshit. so this means a precident has been set and anyone can say the machines are fucked up right???? or even "I thought I was being tailed and charged up the rear, how was I supposed to know those flashing lights was a cop".....bullshit. DUI is DUI, this guy should fry like every other asshole caught drinking and driving. he had OPEN CONTAINERS IN THE CAR...that alone would justify DUI would it not?

Doesn't really surprise me. What needs to happen is more civilian watchdog's recording events of misconduct of officers. If I had a dollar for every time I've seen a cop flash his lights, just to cross the intersection only to turn them off and pull into a Tim Horton's....well let's say I'd be rich.

Anyways, it seems to be gaining in popularity with the ease of Youtube. Hopefully more of these cases will be taken care of - accordingly.
