car insurance?!?!?!
Heres the buzz.
I pay $193 a month for my insurance on the escort so today I get my yearly statemnt in the mail from my insurance saying congratulations for being a client for one year and all this crap. It shoes me a list of all the transactions taken from my bank account for each month. And I noticed in December they started taking out $234 a month. And after time this is gonna add up. They are taking out an extra almost $300 a year. Funny thing is I never got a notice about this when it happened. Now I have never been in an accident or even gotten a ticket for anything. I have been with them for a year. It should at least go down or be the same not go up. Do they even have the right to put it up withiout notifying me or anything. I will call them on Monday since I work tonight and there not open on the weekends I don’t think. The company is Bel Air Direct. I’m also gonna call around and see if I can find one cheaper. If so fuck Bel Air Direct. John |

I'm w/ Bel Air Direct
Same thing happened to me, it turns out that they take a higher rate out for the irst 6 months of the year then they take a lower rate out the last 6 months, and in the end it works out to the montly rate you are supposed to have Is fucked up but that is how they cover their interst costs, since you are paying monthly and not yearly. ------------------ Nick | 2001 Golf 1.8T | www.mygolfiv.com | www.hpaddicts.com | Need Cheap Hosting ?? www.WEJhosting.com $50/Year |

I got mine through a local broker, but I'm insured by the Dominion of Canada Insurance Company. My last renewal came due just a few weeks ago. It came in at $2548/yr, or ~212/mo. But that is everything, 2M liability, theft, fire, and all other kinds of BS I probably don't need on an Escort. I've got a perfect record too, so you're not to far out. Just don't get in an accident with them. My uncle was covered by them when he got T-boned by a truck. The crap he had to go through to get his money was unbelievable. And because it was just barely $200 cheaper, they fixed his explorer even though it was a write off
Matt ![]() ------------------ This is where you type a bunch of shit about how awesome your car is. FACT: It's been scientifically proven that the more shit you write in here the less cool your car is. Nine times out of ten the majority of people who talk shit down here don't even have any of the crap they talk about on their car. I drive an 8 year old domestic and barely give two shits about it. I beat the hell out of it and it begs for more, just like your girlfriend. Go ahead, cut me off. I dare ya. |
