I'm in that boat aswell.. i beefed up my radius rods with 1" DOM pipe and rod ends that can handle 10x the load my stock ones could (AND i can adjust my caster now). The sad thing is i could see myself arguing with some dumb shit who's never taken and engineering course in his whole life telling me my modification is "unsafe".

I agree, BUT thats not even an issue. Haven't heard of people dieing because of mismatched tires or cut springs.

why would you have to raise your car...they said suspension is ok?

Chris: 2 tires of same size but differnt makes is OK
ALex: JDM headlights are iffy, cause of differnt beam pattern
Paul: I've seen and heard enough stories about cut springs to tell you that most ppl dont know how to cut them properly and they fuck them up and the car will handle like ass and end up totaled.

And i'm still waiting for Fraz to send me that list
He must be as slow as his car.

Basically the first time they made him go to a parking lot which hs 3 stages setup.

They have a list on a LEGAL size paper written in font 8 and each row is a check for your car. (and there are 4 colums)
Fraz is gona scan the list and send me a copy and I will post it up.
THe list is very detailed
The first stage the just check the outside of your car for working bulbs, licence plates, reverse light, turn signals, etc, if you have seatbelts, seats are mounted, the ussual things. You can't have loose bumpers, loose wheels, appreantly different tires or bald tires is a NO NO as well. Tint is also looked at.

The second stage the make you pop the hood and go over all the visible mods and your suspension mods. Here is where they go over your exhaust, and he got a ticket for that. They also check for catalytic convertor, etc.

Finally the 3rd stage is for MTO and they plain and simple do emissions on yhour car and look at your crankcase to see if they have a filter.

Fraz was there for a long time and watched at least 40 cars go thru this and he said most had their plates taken off.
Luckly he passed and was given just the one ticket, altough he was missing two lug blots, that he was forced to put in before he as allowed o leave the lot. He had the bolts in his trunk, so he was on his way.

The check list was signed by an officer and given to Fraz along w/ his ticket. They told him that he can get an aftermarket muffler, as long as in not very loud.

So he was on his way and thuout the rest of the night he got stopped 6 more times. Each time, he showed his check list and was let go without questions.

Anyways so that is what is really happening and I wlll have the check list scanned as soon as i get a copy.
Where did all this take place? What time did this happen???

This happened FRI night all night, in a large parking lot near the downtown bus terminal. Cops were gathering cars form all local hangout spots and asking them to drive to that parking lot.

Private property...if they were to do that, then we would all take our plates off and call tow truck drivers...unless you're pretty sure your car's all legal.
