I'm with SKues and smooth on this one, it's not a very mature way to handle this.

thats cause they are getting worse and worse now, last year was fine, they didn't do anything unless you did something, now they will pull you over for being lowered and having an exhaust take your license and make you follow them to some parking lot where they check 100% over your car.

all i have to say is :fuckyou: the police

im not giving the club bad publicity, and if I did I didn't mean too sorry. I'm just fed up with being harrassed everyday by cops. I mean take for instance today, I got pulled over again, and was told if my muffler isn't off by next week my car is being taken off the road.... because of a damn muffler. Go read my comments on guelph racing, and you'll realize that I didn't go blabbing off. I'm not trying to give bad publicity at all. I so sick and tired of this bullshit. 80% of people in our club have aftermarket exhausts. I'm sorry for voicing my opinion, but it seems everyone else can.!

there not getting rid of much apc crap because the ricers don't usually do much other then lights and maybe a muffler, cars that i have seen getting harrased are 1) me in my dads 77 camaro, routine check, horn didn't work i got a fine for that. 2) 72 nova witha supercharger sticking out throught the roof tubbed rear end, side pipes, not sure what the reason but it got hauled ona flatbed off the road. 3)92 mustang 5.0L no cats hauled off the road. All 3 of the cars are 99% safe, there is a horn in my dads camaro now, the other 2 i don't know if they fixed the problems but they were obviously worse if they got towed.
I think they should watch for racers, and shit boxes and leave ppl alone that are just driving say home from the girlfriends house.!!!

Ideally yes but how do they know you're leaving your girlfriend's house or just leaving from a race with an H22 Si hatch?

Andrew, I've seen you at meets, stereo blaring, revving your motor(when it isn't stalling) I can only imagine what you're like on the road. you don't exactly keep a low profile.

Can I have some time to finish my car please?

rob my stereo, was one meet, infact like one of my first meets, and from then on it hasn't been on, and if it is I keep it low, as well, I don't rev my engine??? only if it going to stall out on me. which happens all the time? on the road I actually try to keep it real, I don't speed, if I do it's with the flow, and my stereo is kept at a minimum cause frankly I don't want to be def.

ATTENTION FATNFLYGUY!!!!

Listen man. You are not going to win over the law. And calling them on was just about as retarted as owning a PROBE (kidding, had to beat FOOTOSE to it). Just lose the spoiler, make sure your car isn't too slammed. Install a silencer in your exhaust and your smiling. NO PROBLEMS. And dude, dont come to a meet hootn' and a holerin', makes people nervous.

You guys must realize that this is a PUBLIC message board and that what is posted on this board does not necessarly mean that it represents VITAL MOTION

The club rules are clearly stated on the WEBSITE http://www.vitalmotion.net/join.htm

VM OFFICIAL MEMBERS have their own private section of the FORUM that is not PUBLIC.
We are not resposible for what everyone posts on here and what is posted on here should not be quoted in a newspaper as VM facts

Admins and Mods to a damn good job of keeping this board clean, flame free and elminate all street racing/racist/porn topics (if anyone posts them)

If he posted on here that his shocks are blown and then he got pulled over and harrased, that is his problem not ours.

THe media and cops have to retrain themselfs from generalizing THE CLUB w/ a board user or member.

Our rules are dead simple to follow. YOU STREET RACE = YOU ARE OUT.

What do you expect us to do safety checks on each member's ride??

^^^ Yup, get a silencer and you should be fine, when i got my mufflers that the first thing i put on since i knew it was too loud. SOunded like stock with them on. And i agree that your not going to win against the law, just go with it, there is not much you can do about it.

your right about the silencer, this is the first muffler that I havn't had one for, beause of the way it's designed,, it's not a straight through muffler. But it's old news, I'm putting a new exhaust system on tomorrow, then my car will be perfectly legal!!

no cats on the mustang, is that really worth pulling the guys car off the raod??? the horn thing was a fuse and is fixed now, I know this stuff would not pass a safety and i understand, but c'mon last time i got pulled over and i had a turn signal out they gave me 48 hours to fix it and show them, charges were dropped.

but im just saying there not just taking rice off the road they are taking off peoples hobbies, a classic nova, yanked, theres like 40,grand into that car.

WAY TO FRICKEN GO CHAMPION.

This is why, nick, alex, mike, and my self go through such a task of desciding who reaches membership status in this club. Because its much easier for society to label a group as a whole, rather then each individual, the actions of one, affect the lives of many. So when people apply to this club, and complain to one of us admins that they applied and haven't received any OFFICIAL status yet, its because there is a 3 months waiting list. We need to be certain that the people we have as official members are not going to jepordize the image that this club holds. This is why we get so frustrated with the comments some people makes. Such as "WHAT IS YOUR CARS TOP SPEED", or "STUPID COPS blah blah blah"

If you have a problem with law inforcement stop the belly ass bitching and take it to the ministry of transportation or your local law enforcement. Will they want to talk to you??? Probably not. Did you deserve the tickets??? Damn straight.

End of story.

Peace!

Sure it is, it violates emmision laws. As for the horn thing, try explaining your self if it's just a blown fuse, not all cops are out to get you most are just trying do thier job and are understanding. Cops give me advice all the time they pulled me over in my brothers civic to tell me that i can have plates and a 10 day permit on at the same time, i explained my self that i just replace the cat because i didn't pass emmision and i was getting new stickers on the monday. He looked at the ten day and told me that it was expired, i said i knew but it was the weekend and i couldn't get another one till monday, he just told me to watch out since i can get pulled over and get ticketed for haveing expired plates by another cop.
