Maybe both sites should state that very clearly on their opening pages? I could just see some very ignorant cop logging on to one of the websites and thinking were all a bunch of street racers.

Nick, I have the author's name and email and phone number that wrote that article. Check your PM.

As far as cops go...they should not have any problems reading this forum. In fact, if they have the time to read it, I wish they'd sign up and post. If our cars are legally modifed, then why not work together on making the streets safer for everyone??? Plus they could help people out with the legality of specific modifications.

for the record

I just want to go on record as saying I have absolutely no problem with the law enforcement. If I gave that impression on any of my previous posts on this topic the please take this as my apology. I was only pulled over once for my tints and he let me off with a warning...as far as I know my car is perfectly legal...I don't have a silencer for my muffler but I don't do any high revving, though I should put a silencer in just in case. anyways, I hope I cleared my previous statements up...not that anyone yelled at me or anything but I just wanted to clarify...blah whatever....complicated subject...can we talk about strut towers and the wheel wells that love them on the next Jerry Springer?

20% of cops are down right ignorant jerks. 70% don't have the knowledge or know how to actually give you a ticket for something like an exhaust, tinted windows, or even know what type of car you own if it doesn't have badges on it. The other 10% actually do know what they are doing, and those guys are usually the nice guys that DONT give you a ticket because they actually know what they are talking about.

Don't be such a pussy, you post your thoughts then you take them back?? Big deal. Voice your opinion. Don't be baby, it's too late to go back anyway.

OMG, I just read your above post.

I wasn't taking anything back, I didn't say anything negative against cops in the first place, I was just making sure everyone knew where I stand on the issue...which is complicated really...cops are good, getting pulled over is bad...um...oh who cares anymore (leaves room, goes back to bed)

you're 1000% right about the cops... Any of the ones that I called or emailed were COMPLETELY unwilling to sit down and outline what is legal and what is illegal. The answer I kept hearing is that "they like to leave it up to the officers discretion", and that the HTA should have grey areas..... No, I'm not making that up, I actually got those answers from the Police...

I believe Zorf who just signed into this club could help us out a lot, his dad a big cop over in Peel, and he's always answering questions and helping guys like us in a predicament, maybe it would be cool to have him come out to a meet and explain some shit to us.

i have since changed the original post, the reason they felt that I was bloating was because I did add hahah, to the end of my message, it was the same night I had recieved my tickets, and I was still really pissed off.

it dosent matter that you changed your post the cops know its there and i quoted it so its still on there and im gonna keep it there so people dont brag about stupid shit like that again.

for those who havent seen it QUOTE (Fatflyguy @ Jul 11 2004, 12:23 PM)
they missed, 4 blown struts, passenger seat not mounted correctly, and blue reverse lights hahaha.

are you stupid? never put what they missed the cops are most likely on here every day and and your on here bragging on what they missed. even more stupid your name on here is your plate so if you get pulled over again thats all your fault so dont come and bitch

well thats my $0.02

and STOP driving your car like its 5 spd thats so f*cking annoying

Do these blitz things only basically happen on just Friday nights? Or do cops basically look for this stuff every day?

There's only one reason why they won't share the b.s. ticketing system with us....thats because if we now they'll have problems filling their quota for the month......LAZY....JUST LAZY....Its like a mouse trap....but instead of cheese they fill it with cool tints, great mufflers...and other attractive auto stuff to catch us.
