Yeah, unless you want the insurance under your name only.

Switch the whole family over, you may be able to pick up a deal when doing that.

My insurance company (Echelon) just kicked me off my policy because they found out my car was modified. I'm currently with facility, and went from $90 per month to $167 per month! Thats just rape.

So what insurance companies will insure a modified vehicle? I need a list. I know I could go with any company and not tell them about the modifications. But if I get into an accident, I will not be covered when the adjuster see's the modifications.

hey try this www.insurancehotline.com

i filled out all my info and they give me three of the best prices for me, and to get the insurance companies name i needed to give them $8.50.

so i called the insurance companies and i found one for 191 a month, which isnt bad cause i was going up to 410 a month with the old company

damn insurance companies in Ontario!!!!

My buddy from B.C. was down all week long. Anyways he bought a 2004 Pontiac Vibe and he's my age (20). Wanna know what his insurance is by himself? First time driver I might add and the first time he's ever been insured. He pays $80 a MONTH!!!! Damn government controlled insurance!

Holya crap thats insane!!!

I got quoted $153 for a2004 RSX-Premium and $142 for a 2002 RSX-S.
Guess what my next car is gonna be?

The insurance company?
State Farm.

And yes my CRX is modded. My understanding is that mods are ok, as long as its legal (i.e. bolt-ons) but you only get the value of the car stock)
