I have paid for, and have been holding a sensor for this guy's white Maxima (the one with the altezzas) for months now! He was in a bit of a tight spot and I offered to help him out by buying it for him - and at the time I would only be "spotting" him the money for a week until he got paid.

He was having some issues with his car that should not be ignored for too long so I bought him the sensor and was going to install it for him too (normally about a $100 job at the dealership).

Well, that was over 2 months ago! He does not reply to my e-mails or return my cell phone messages. What did I get for my kindness and generosity? A stiff...

I have seen him driving around town with his new 18" rims and I have seen him post (albeit infrequently) on here. If someone does see him, please hunt his a$$ down for me.

This is also a warning to other buyers/sellers to be weary of him. BTW, his name is Dan.

the idea of this forum is similar to that of the feedback system on ebay, it rewards those that do business like adults.

You're doing business with another person. If you do bad buisness, you get a bad reputation. Now I don't about where you come from, but for me, if somebody came and asked me to get a part for them, and in turn I was unable to contact for them MONTHS, I'd start to question the persons integrity. Not to mention I'd really question it if I didn't have any $ in my hand.

If you don't want your "good name" slandered on the internet then you should've responded to the guy. Seems it only took you 2 days to find and respond to this thread. I'm not gonna judge you on that fact though, beacause quite frankly I don't know all the details.

We live in Canada where you can say and write what you want (albeit to a certain extent) and if you don't like what he wrote then get in touch with him and resolve it instead of arguing over the internet. Personally I think it's pretty child-like to not pay the guy because he called you out on an internet forum. How else would he have gotten you talking to him?

P.S. You should have a little more respect for the mods, they do a good job and you should be thankful for that.

Dan, I think you are trying to pull another one of your usual "stunts" in public.

I will admit one thing - you were extremely friendly to me and truly made me believe that you have changed a lot since back in 2002 when you were looking into buying my rims (and we both know how that went).

But back to the present - you tried to call me? Why is it then that my phone never rang? I always pick up. Even if I did not, why not leave me a voicemail? At least that way I know that you called... (duh, like I have to explain the purpose of voicemail).

What about all the e-mails I sent you? I did not receive a SINGLE response to them in the last while. I have been e-mailing you every other day (I wanted to be a pest to the point where you at least respond to my phone calls or emails so I stop bugging you... but I really do not have the time to chase you down).

I really did not want to bring this out in public because we made a deal and I always deliver as promised. However you seem to have a problem with that and despite me giving you the benefit of the doubt over and over again, I never heard from you. As I said in another thread, I am not a bank... you told me that you were in a tight spot and couldn't pay me until you got paid later that week. But since I found such a good deal on the sensor I even made numerous phone calls to the seller in the US (at my own expense of course - none of which I cared to recover from you) to get the deal done and make sure that you don't miss out. I even paid for you, on the understanding that it was going to be only until you got paid.

I do not have a problem with this thread being deleted, AFTER I get my money in full. I will leave that upto the moderators though. I really do not have anything against you and once again, this is not personal - it is business. I am not made of money like you claim to be. So why can you not be responsible and follow through with your promises?

It didn't before... I was just going to do it for you as a favour.

But we will have to see when we meet. I am going on vacation at the end of the week and actually am going to be very busy all week this week, as I have been in the last couple of weeks. I have lots of the company's off-site locations to visit and complete work that would cost them a lot of moolah if not completed by the end of the month when I leave.

Dan, your time is up! I am flying to Europe on Friday morning and I told you that we need to get this done before I leave. You said that it will be done by today. I wasted 2 hours yesterday, when I still had a LOT of work to finish off at my work. You wasted another hour of mine today waiting for you in the area that you agreed to meet me. I left you numerous text messages and called you about as persistently as a crack addict but you never picked up or called me as you promised JUST AN HOUR EARLIER!!!

The knock sensor is no longer for sale to you. I would rather keep it and swallow the loss than waste more time on you. My time is worth more than your p.o.s. car and the problem that I tried to help you out of with it. Why would you avoid my calls and e-mails? You text message me every so often to throw a weak threat, but you don't have the balls to pick up the phone?? WHY? If you really do not have the money or do not want the sensor, JUST SAY SO! you can tell your life stories on here anish, and we all know i can start with many of your issues too, but i don't involve anyone with that, cause im not a low life person like you who has nothing better to do.
