2004 Detroit Autoshow TRIP - #1 Car Club In Kitchener - Waterloo - Cambridge

I know there is still one month to go until the Public Opening, but i want to see if anyone is interested in going.
I went last year and was very impressed. It is much larger then the Canadian International Autoshow and alot more cars are open. Almost everything is open, except for the concepts and a few exotics. There is also lots of free stuff.
I'm thinking of heading down on Saturday Januwary 17th. I made this trip alot of times and it is about 3.5 hours drive from kitchener to downtown Detroit where the show is.
The entrance is $12USD = $16CAD
The parking for the day was like $20USD and gas is probably like $40CAD (there and back)
If we carpool (4 or 5 ppl per car) it would cost us about $30-$35 each to make the trip (food not included)
The show is defiently worth that.

This year they have a full hall dedicated to Modified Sport Compacts.
So anyone up for this ???

I might go.. I wouldnt be able to car pool with you guys considering i'm a few hours away, but maybe meet there?

I plan on leaving at 7AM to be there for the 10AM opening. I imagine you will have to sleep there the night before, since there is no way you can make it from Ottawa to Detroit and back in one day.

I might be in. I know on the Sunday I am going skating with the Toronto Maple Leafs at the Air Canada Centre.
