Yeah, a general statement directed at the "whiners" that were posting in this thread which would include me I am assuming. This show was being used as a form of advertising for the business in quesion, so no, we shouldn't be thankful for it as it was organized from a business standpoint. Secondly, you come in here, blab and blab about people whining and bitching and you don't even have a clue of what you are arguing about. You weren't there, you don't know what happened, yet you choose to bring in your "general" statement. I think its time to get your foot out of your mouth.

All im saying is if you werent happy with the way the show was judged, and thier stating thier changing things.... just dont go again.

There is no need to hijack a thread and make it a bitch and complain about the past thread.
The whole point of that show was to get ppl to come to their store, which in the end is advertisment for them and than leads to profit not a cost. No one is hijacking or anything we are just woundering as to what happened last year and if its being done again, since if they are not going to change anything and proceed like last year than yea im gonna come here and tell ppl not to go to a show that is riged.

I don't really understand how starting a new thread will prove that I'm going to be changing the way things were run.

I wanted to announce the show date on a forum here because this is the kind of website that car buffs come on to...and the reason we are putting the show on is for you guys.
I really don't have problem with criticism but please make it creative, it was the first show I had organized and I did what I could to try to make it best for you guys.

The judging will be done differently.

I really hope to see you guys out - I'm hoping to get some really great prizes this year and make it better then last. I didn't start the thread to become what it has.

Truthfully...I'm into car show and shines more and we'd never done anythign like it before so I rolled with it. We talked about doing a sound comp this year...but because of the location it's going to be too difficult to have cars move around. We're likely going to have some sort of "best install" category based on sound and looks of the install, judged by installers from a few stores around - and at some point down the road if we move the location of the show (in a couple of years) I will definately be doing an actual sound comp.

Again I just wanted to add that you guys did an amazing job with the show (especially first year!) and I saw no favourtism at all and my win proves just that - so just keep doing what you are doing!

"Men earn respect by showing it".

So far you've not lived up to that, maybe you should quit while you're behind big guy.

Some noob who has contributed dick all to this community when compared to others who have contributed plenty really shouldn't be saying the things you're saying. Did you sign up for a reason other then to run your mouth?

Actually if you keep it up, you'll be banned for trying to start shit. Shit disturbers will be banned without any notice. And as Kyle has already stated, it seems like thats the only reason you're here for. If you don't like the way things are run here, you're welcome to leave and never come back. Have a nice day.

I had an idea for judging and I'm curious as to what you guys think....
I was thinking of having the people who are entered in the show have to privately choose who they think the top 5 are - and the winners are obviously those who have the most votes.

Any thoughts? Cause even if people in the show are there with 2-3 friends - the most votes they can get is an extra 2-3 (if friends simply vote for friends)
