C.S.P.L Rules

The rules are straight forward.

class 1 1500 watts and under - 1 12" or 2 10"

class 2 1500 watts and under - 2 12" or 1 15"

class 3 1501 watts and over - all speaker sizes

class 4 Pro open
All those that have competed at or qualified for a world finals. Also any store owner or staff member or industry member will be asked to compete in the pro open class.

All installs that are over the window line will be placed in class 3.

All amps rated at the lowest impedance and their rms rating at that impedance.

You may use any type of music on a store bought disk. No Test tones.

All vehicles must be driven to the show and be true daily drivers.

Head Judge reserves the right to make a final decision on any issues that may arise during an event.

Let's have fun

This is copy and pasted from another site, Rules are straight forward, they just want safety first,

Crxforum, I think that would be sick!!!! Good idea,

as long as harrold gets a good quality bass cd he will kill the first class with one ten

The classes have changed since last year they had a under 1000 watt 1 10 or 12

but i still think this one 10 will beat some of the guys with 2 12s

I was talking to The People At Stereo Connections they say its 25 for a membership and 20 bucks to compete, but if your just comming out for a a single time it 25 bucks for a run.
It my first time this year, and i think the rules changed from last year cause they are running CSPL noth the other one. check it out for all the dates. www.splshows.com

Thanks for the Explanations and thanks for the Ego boost Kevin. Although I don't think I'm gonna be able to make it out this sunday As I work all day. Hopefully soon I can make it out though.

Really thinking about building a new system. The one I have is really loud but I picked up a huge amp that would power a couple of 1000RMS+ Subs Nicely. Although the dude at Audisource Said I'd need an ambulance alternator. See what happens I guess.

It wasn't a Crown JBL amp was it? lol..Cause those are SICK amps !!! Tons of power, and Honestly, I hope you have some tricks in that Honda of yours cause over 1000wrms TRUE watts, your drawing quite a bit!! Should be fun, I know that Im adding about 4000wrms to my stereo with that amp, Im getting a Alternator built for my car and im going to run 2 HUGE batteries, Still prolly won't be enough :P

Not a Crown JBL no. It's a Tsunami DB 1800T. Puts out 1800RMS. And I don't have any tricks in the honda yet no... Those are slowly but surely Coming. Either that or i'm gonna ditch the whole stereo and Put my Civic on bags.

But we'll have to see. Where are you getting you alternator built?

I ordered mine from a Mitsu site in the states, however (ready to be flamed for this one) Highland Starter and Alternator gave me a VERY competitive quote for a custom made small housing alternator!! The only reason I decided against, was the one in the states comes with brackets and a pulley for my car!!, The Tsunami amp is killer, one of my buddies ran it for quite some time, However only 2ohm stable IIRC!!!! I think you should get a killer single 12" Fibreglass enclosure and still throw some Air on it :P thats just me though The only other mod OTHER then that, Im planning on running 5more runs of 0ga!! HEAVY!!
