Last year, after the show, they had asked anyone that was harrassed/ticketed by police outside the show to write DKN an email regarding what happened.

They had complained about the police and said that the police harrassment was cutting into the revenue of the show by detering people from attending due to the harrasment. So I'm anxious to see what they're doing about it this year as they had filed a complaint about it.

Yeah, there's nothing u can do about the cops, it's just luck whether they pull u over or not. Like when i got pulled over, they just walked out into the middle of the street, stopped about 12-16 cars in a row all at once, and just picked thru them deciding which ones looked modified. They were even pulling people over that were driving mini vans, as long as they were young. It's total BULLSHIT!!! Nevermind the 15-20 mins u gotta wait while they check each vehicle one at a time. It's total harrassment when u don't have anything illegal on your car.

from what I've been hearing from my team and some other boys, DKN might not be a go this year, because the main sponsers have dropped out apparently. They said it's all hush hush right now, but from what I've been hearing it doesn't look too good!

The worst is that my girl is from Markham, so I'm there all summer every weekend and gotta deal with that BS regularly...the Waterloo Region cops still have a long way to go to be like the Peel and York region cops.

LOL I have a bit of a funny story about police harassment. Me and my buddy neuf (Inactively registered on here as Integra_GS) were driving in his parent's Jaguar at about 1am. All of a sudden an undercover Impala (GOD i hate those things!) pulls us over. We weren't breaking any laws as far as we knew. The cops sits there for about 10 mintues..then walks up to the car and starts talkin to us. He thought we stole the car and it took about 20 mins to convince him it was legitamitely his car and he was allowed to drive it. All because the po was jealous in my opinion

The morale of the story is, cops are ghey
