Ok, but just don't get discouraged. It's your first one, finding out you're not as good as you expect is rough, especially on the cones

I beat the hell out of it and it begs for more, just like your girlfriend. Go ahead, cut me off. I dare ya. |

So jimmy any tips for us first timers? Are helmets actually required? How much does it cost? is there anything that I should bring that a typical newb would forget? If I have a spare helmet can you have a passenger I think the GF wants to come for a ride. And where exactly is this thing?

helmets are nice to have but they aren't neccessary as they have a few loaners there as well. This sunday is 30 dollars to register. And you should remeber to take any loose shit out of your car and pump up your tires a bit extra, depending on the car but that's something that you can experiment with yourself. You can bring a spare helmet and passengers are welcome but they must sign the waiver.
Bronte Go Station (2104 Wyecroft Road, Oakville) This is where it is and registration is at 8a.m. I will be at sportsworld at 7a.m. and stay there for about 10 minutes before I leave so if you wanna go make sure you're there at 7 Hope to see a few of you out ![]() ------------------ 93 Civic hatchback, ITR powered, boltons 185whp with a new 1/4 mile time coming very soon. i guess i better get some sleep because i just got back from the dunville lapping day, rained most of the time we were there but was still lots of fun as it seems vipers, c6 vets, fd rx7's, porsche 928's as well as other expensive performance cars seem to have trouble getting around the track when it is wet

I was there too, rocking the tan Protege that slid through every corner due to cheap tires, but didn't hit one cone! Finished over-all in 63rd place of the 95 cars. Not bad for my first time at Bronte. My buddy was the one running the black Speed6, which finished 66th place.

that's awesome, my buddy was the guy with the green protoge, I was definitely impressed at how well the those cars performed, they have always been known to have good suspension geometry. The mazdaspeed protoge was SICK in it's day

I'll be there on Sept. 9th, with a gutted red Tracer - we'll be rocking whatever number we're given.
The car is going to be hilarious looking, so feel free to come by and laugh at it openly - just introduce yourself too! It'll be the first time driving this project car in an AutoX, so hopefully our times aren't too bad ![]() |
