2008 Saturn Sky

This is definitely one of the hotter cars in its segment. I think it will put up a good fight. Saturn has really stepped it up in terms of style!

The Red Line gets a boost in performance from an Ecotec turbocharged 2.0-liter engine, GM’s first direct injection offering in North America. It produces 260 horsepower at 5300 rpm and 260 lb.-ft. of torque at 2500 rpm, making it GM’s highest specific output engine ever at 2.1 horsepower per cubic inch of displacement (130 hp / 97 kw per liter) and the most powerful engine in the Ecotec family.

looks kinda like this one in my driveway
too bad i dont own it
i work as an apprentice mechanic at a saturn dealership
the blue one is a redline and the red one is a regular version. You can tell by the headlights, exhaust, badging and intercooler in the grill.

Either way they are sweet cars

Not only are they hot...but for those plastic haters out there, Saturns are now all metal!! As for the interior, Saturn is earning awards left, right, and center for their interior and exterior designs. For those who have never been to a Saturn dealership, their customer service is second to NONE!!

Ya... I went with a friend a week ago to pickup a Saturn. It was definitely something I've never seen. The salesmen presented him to the whole 'team', and they clapped. They also bring the car in the front of the dealrship and cover it with a sheet so that it can be presented as a prize. It' definitely something that a lot of buyers would appreciate.

My family has owned 6 so far, me 4 and my parents each have one...they are truely reliable and can have sporty potential...its sad how people frown upon them, when they win so many awards..

We used to own a 1991 Saturn LS1. It was alright, but it definitely was not on the top of the pile as far as quality/reliability is concerned. I'm sure they've gotten better however.

And as for the Redline, I haven't seen a dealership yet with one in stock to test drive. I guess you have to specially order them.

Most Sky's were on back order. Don't know if they still are or not. But definitely would go with the Redline version of the Sky, Ion, or Vue!!

Here are a few pics from our all Saturn car show this past weeekend in the Falls. This Sky was brought up from Sound Choice Audio and Performance in New York State. It won best roadster design at SEMA this past year. He also previously won with his Yellow Ion Redline that I am sure you have seen at every major car show.

So because it has Saturn badges it sucks? Why is that? Haha, every car sucks smart ass. They all have problems including your POS Turbo Civic. Whoops did I say that out loud. See every one has an opinion. Don't hate on others cause you drive a Hon-duh. It could all go around because one person may not like your car and so on and so on. Just appreicate cars for their work instead of saying if it aint a civic it is shit!
