2008 Saturn Vue

Following the previous post for the Saturn SKY Redline: The 2008 Saturn Vue

Quote:
Part of Vue's intended appeal will be variety. Three trim levels, five power trains, and front- or four-wheel drive are yours for the choosing.
The base XE is offered with a 2.4-litre, twin-cam, Ecotec four-cylinder with variable valve timing for its sixteen valves (output ratings: 169 hp and 161 lb-ft of torque), four-speed automatic gearbox and front-wheel drive. Optional is a 3.5-litre overhead valve V6 (222 hp, 219 lb-ft) with a six-speed autobox and four-wheel drive.
The up-level XR gains a 3.6-litre, double overhead camshaft, 24-valve V6 again with variable valve timing (257 hp, 241 lb-ft) and six-speed automatic, with either front- or four-wheel drive.
A Red Line model which builds on the XR mechanicals with exterior and interior upgrades and ‘tap-shift’ (manual mode – ed.) automatic XR arrives later this summer.
This fall, a mild hybrid four similar to last year's Vue will be added, with an advanced dual-mode hybrid coming next spring.
