Kev I bought mine brand new w 20GB, forza 2 and some spiderman shit game i never opened, wireless controller, headset and all for $400.

where? i went to best buy on boxing day, they had 360 (the older version without the special chip) which apparently had a 40% fail rate, which is terrible for 399 with forza and another game, the warrently was another 80$ and taxes on top.
The newer ones which still have a 20% failt rate (compare to PS3 at a 4% fail rate) they were sold out of, but not sure there cost.

if your that worried about " fail rates" dont buy one. or buy a warranty. your better off buying new if your that worried then atleast you know it has a warranty

They come with a 3 year warrenty from microsoft. If it fails, call them they send a box you just gotta give back to purolator all prepaid shipping. Then it comes back or a replacement one voila done. I've done it with 3 different ones now

and my roommate as well. Not saying MY systems failed its just something I do.

Just to let you know, Microsoft includes the 3 year warranty only on the "3 rings of death".
It's on their website somewhere too.
