If there is any chips or cracks in the clear coat/paint...the aluminum with oxidize VERY fast and cause continued unplastic corrosion.
Plus...summer rims usually have summer tires on...with equals next to Zero traction all winter...which equals you going into the curb 3-4 times a week...which equals screwed up wheels |

and and if the rim is a bit curbed does that mean chips or crack cuz we're arguing about his brothers teg he has rims that have a diff middle than mine but have the polished lip around the outside

most rims are at least a 17" anyways...so chances are you're driving on a low pro tire of some sort...and you'd have to be a moron to drive in this part of the country during winter on a tire like that... rim damage aside
but again...if you've spent around a grand or more on your rims...why would you WANT to drive them in the snow, sand, salt, dirt, huge potholes, and other winter road conditions? no offense to your boy, but seems like a pretty stupid argument to me...you've got nice rims? take em off in the winter, its the logical thing to do. of course you CAN drive them in the winter. i COULD also eat a loaf of my own shit if i really wanted to...doesnt mean im gonna do it ------------------ Christian 04 civic SI |
