I did it... Probably with taping off the lip is it has to be done twice... 1st with 2 lairs of duct tape to protect the lip from Blasting... then a 2nd time with a special high-heat tape which will not burn/melt in the oven.

Masking tape can be used in the Oven but the glue stays on the lip and then is required to be cleaned up "isnt hard but just another thing to do" so its why we use the high-heat tape which will withstand 500 degrees.

I have had one Gentlemen "a VM user actually" who Stripped his rims himself with a Paint Stripper and then Taped them up himself and then removed the masking tape himself...

As long as you would like one of the two shades I have in stock... Cost would be $240.00 total.

I have the Shade which Ian has on his Accord and the Shade @ the top of this page which is a stock 7 spoke Nissan rim on a 240sx.

color would either be plain old grey/silver or black to match rest of engine (i don't like the shiney) or dark green to match my exterior. if i was doing dark green i might get the plate on the top of the motor done too... the one that says 2.4L twin cam. Would that be much more?

yeah my red is deeper than yours so I think it will still look good... similar to this Photochop but maybe lighter...
