Wheel/Rim Refinishing...

Looking to get my wheels re-done... they are aluminum and I would like to get them to shine once again... does anyone know of a possibly local shop (in KW) I can bring 'em to for re-polishing?

Pic for clicks...

What exactly is wrong with them? is the clearcoat flaking off?

In some spots, and from the previous owner, he didn't really take good care of the rims from brake dust and shit, and its kind of embedded into the face of the rims, and there's some parts that aren't up to par for me. So when I put the wheels on, I put the one that were on the rear, upfront and the front ones out back...

If you see the wheels in person, and actually took the time to look at them, you would see the blemishes.

There is a place in downtown Hamilton that does this kind of work, for a good price. The shop is called Wheel Wizards, I dont know the # off the top of my head but you can look them up in the phone book. Hope that helps.

There's a guy in cambridge named Mike White. He has a small shop that is close to hwy 8 and 24 right beside manchester school off hwy 8. I'm nost sure his number, but he's pretty cheap. If the rims are clearcoated and the clear coat is flaking, it is a pretty big job to refinish them. It's not hard, but it does take a long time and most places will charge a fair bit. If it is just polished aluminum, then it is easier to just repolish.
