Have a set of Toyo Proxes on my truck rims. I drove them around never checking them and well, I drove them down to the point where the sidewall seperated from the tread. You could see all the string under the rubber and they still hold air!

You cant go wrong with toyo tires man, Ive hear nothing but good things about them since Ive started working for OK tire. my boss has a set of toyo ultra 800's and a set of toyo observe winter tires for his intrepid, hes had both sets for about 10 years and almost 210xxxkm and they still look good and arent rock hard yet. I ended up buying a set of 800 ultra's for my moms windstar and she absolutely loves the ride and low road noise compared to the OE tires.
It also wouldnt hurt to have them inflated with nitrogen, seems to be quite a few long term benefits to running nitrogen. I think its only like $5 a tire, might be a good Idea to give it a try |

Quote:
Nitrogen is said to reduce natural deflation over time that occurs with tires to a practically non existent level, aswell as maintain a more consistent pressure during temperature changes, improve fuel economy, reduce aging effects on the rubber compounds, eliminate moisture in the tire, so no more beak leaks etc. There are alot of bonuses I have heard to running nitrogen, however I personally dont have any solid proof of the true effects of nitrogen because Im no longer dealing in passenger tires. But for $5 a tire or whatever it is, if even 1 or 2 of the said bonuses are infact true, then its $20 well spent. Considering tires are one of the most expensive maintenance components, you wanna make sure you get your moneys worth ![]() |
