How bad is this reallly

My speedo is off 6% percent

How serious is this, cuz I found an awesome price on 215s.

6% IMO is a lot.
that's an extra 6km on the odometer per 100km driven.
the furthest i'd venture away from stock is 2% tops...and perferably on the larger side not smaller (so to put fewer KM on the odo rather than more)

Life can change with every breathe, and it can end before the next.

Datsun 280z- awaiting LS1 install to be the LSZ of my dreams
Mods to come:224/224 cam, valvesprings, hardened pushrods, hugger headers, P&P TB, LS6 intake, loud pipes

What you didn't hear me? or you didn't understand?

Meh, if they fit and don't rub roll them. You can always get a Defi heads up and use that to program for your "actual" speed.

This is what I intend to do as I will likely run a similarly oversized tire on my 240sx.

It's 6% on the slow side so that makes it a bit better to deal with than 6% over.

IMO I might try and find something a little closer in size.

This is where you type a bunch of shit about how awesome your car is. FACT: It's been scientifically proven that the more shit you write in here the less cool your car is. Nine times out of ten the majority of people who talk shit down here don't even have any of the crap they talk about on their car. I drive an 8 year old domestic and barely give two shits about it. I beat the hell out of it and it begs for more, just like your girlfriend. Go ahead, cut me off. I dare ya.

Mine are 3% too small and I'm looking at selling the tires, I would not go any more than 3%

ok seriously guys.........if it doesn't rub, put it on. Just keep in mind there alittle bigger

Just remember to go 93 down the 401, and you'll be fine

The tires on my truck are 5-6 sizes bigger, I just keep in the back of my mind...thats all

As long as you have the same size tires, on all 4 wheels............you'll be fine, and no excessive driveline wear will occur
