5x114.3/115/4.5????

ok so im trying to find rims for a 03 grand am GT and tirerack.com says its 5x115 and some people are telling me 5X114.3 and 5X4.5 are all the same? anyone know for sure? i dont want to buy a set for my buddy then find out they dont even fit

for the Grand Am GT, you can use either 5x114.3 or 5x115.

The .7 of a mm won't make a large difference. Make sure the offset is a minimum of +38 and max of +45.

Sometimes, depending on the rim, you might get slight vibrations in the rear at higher speeds with the 114.3 rims ... but, if that's the case, you could always get some hubcentric spacers.

GM fwd is 5x115mm . in most cases you can get away with 5x4.5 (which is 5x114.3 in metric) as its very close. if you do go with the 5x4.5 then i'd highly recommend hubcentric rings to help with vibrations that may be had.
