are they the correct overall diameter for your car? dunno till you post the full tire size of a stock tire.

they are too big.

Specification Sidewall Radius Diameter Circumference Revs/Mile Difference
205/40-17 3.2in 11.7in 23.5in 73.7in 860 0.0%
235/40-17 3.7in 12.2in 24.4in 76.7in 827 4.0%

and if you only put two on the rear then you will give your ABS a headache as it will think the front and rear tires are spinning at different rates and be all messed up.

find the right tires IMO

speaking from a guy whose probably had more sets of tires on his civic in the 9 months i've owned it then you ever will, don't buy them, they will be too big, they will look like ass, they will rub and stick out past the edge of your fenders and therefore they will be illegal...did I mention they will probably be in constant contact with your fenders as you go down the road...don't bother waste of money, want some cheap tires get some wanli's

Wanli's are the best bang for the dollar. I put on 30000kms on my 17 inch rims. Tires were less then 450$ installed and balanced lol.
