lol... try searching for more than 2 seconds
i did look so did Knight Performance and Sound Image and Lowe's autobody

and as for the "rice citation" read what i said the cluster tach is being changed to temp guages or another idea i jus had that will score points in a show
You do realize that the stock instrument cluster is all one big circuit board inside, and you can't just cut out the area where the stock tach is without ruining the whole cluster right???

If I were you, I'd get an external temp(or whatever) gauge(s) and just leave the OEM tach where it is.

As for the turbo... Why a T3/T4??? If you only want to run 5-7psi of boost all you're getting from the T3/T4 over a smaller turbo is a bunch of extra lag. You'd be much better off with a 16G or even a 14b or T25 (stock talon turbo's). You could pick up a used 14b or T25 in really good shape for about $250, instead of the $800 the T3/T4 will set you back.

^^ t3 is a bit bigger than a T25, but not as big as a T3/T4(yes yes, I know...), and its a pretty solid choice for a low boost setup as well. Most T3/T4's are way out of their efficiency range running 6psi of boost. The common housings/AR's are much happier in the 15-25psi range.

well this is my intial plan.. get the car boosted and running by no later than augest

once she goes away for the winter.. i have a garage i can keep it in and work on it. .no heated.. but i have a warm jacket :P

i was going to upgrade the injectors and work more with the internals... almost like a rebuild.. just so i can get the idea of my motor

and probly brign the boost up to about 10-12

sorry to be a pain in the ass.. but whats the difference between t3 and t3/t4.. iknow that the t3 is smaller

^^ a T3 uses a T3 compressor and exhaust housing... A T3/T4 uses a T3 exhaust housing and a T4 compressor housing(I think, I might have that backwards though).

^^ small, decently efficient, and they're easy to find since alot of cars use them stock(2g DSM's, SR20DET's, etc etc).

Why? I bleed Mazda. Thats where i come from. Myself, Johnscort, boostaddict, superdave, skuce, etc are the resident Mazda guys here on the forum. We know a thing or ten about Mazdas.
That being said, as I said earlier, A-Spec in Toronto is one of the premier Mazda tunning shops. I said that they tried a turbo ze and shit blew apart in about ten engines. That motor is just not set-up for turbo. Mazda once did a proto-type s/c'd version, but, it barely ran thus it never being produced. They also messed around with the motor so much it was almost an 03...lol
Two motors that you should never F/I from Mazda are KL-05 and KL-ZE. Can it be done? Sure. But be prepared to put in another motor within minutes.
Turbo KL-03 is they way to go...or better yet, put in a BPT. You have to think about what you want. If its a high-hp motor, than drop in the ZE and build it. If you want a decent hp motor and to have a low boost turbo, do turbo 03. If you want to concentrate on having a turbo car, go BPT (you can boost them until your MBC knob falls off!!! )

^^ I'd say a boosted KL03 would be MUCH better in this case, since the BPT will require a lot of extra parts(full wiring harness to start) since his car is already a V6.
