some guys on the tex are hitting over 210whp on stock turbo, i see it all the time but thats rare, and why i thought 220 might be a bit high.
I'd say with your mods, and boost level, I would've guessed you'd make around 200-205whp.. Your buddies SRT4 also seems to be around the same percentage higher than other guys running the same mods.

What output did the rest of your pulls yield?
And get Nick or someone to post up a compresson map for your stock turbo. I don't have one.

210 whp is easily doable with the right mods.
220 whp is doable on 100 octane and an open dump with optimized software.
220+ isn't going to happen on the baby K03S unless you're running nitrous.

Excellent pull, but it does seem to be a slightly happy dyno. If you ran on a dynojet you'd probably put down 210-ish which is still fantastic for the stock turbo. Congrats!

There is no available map for the K03S. Stupid Borg-Warner...

The closest map is the K04-01 which is just slightly more efficient.

That's the map for a K03 ( non-sport )

The K03S has the compressor from the K04-01 and the exhaust turbine from the K03.

hey guys, it was my srt4.

The dyno was definately a little flattering. I'd say i was more around 250- 260 whp, and about 300 to 310 wtq.

but whatever it is a dyno. It's all about which type of dyno you consider to measure power "correctly".

you still have the stock K03 turbo? What other mods do you have...it doesnt sound right. Ive seen A4's with PC16 K04 on the 1.8T pushing out around 210awhp with evoms fmic,Techtonics Dp 2.5". Your doing the same with just APR software which definetly isnt right...maybe its crank hp you got there?

Also I know the quattro eats a bit of hp from the a4s running the k04 but still the difference is maybe 1-6 whp.

AWD has HUGE drivetrain loss also. like i said, i am probably closer to 200whp but the tq is about right.

my mods are all listed...i have the same mods as your A4 mentioned and i have the k03sport turbo which has a k04 exhaust side. i guess you aren't familiar with FWD 1.8T's, i don't see why you are so worked up over this.

again. lets state the obvious:

this was not a mustang dyno.

this WAS a dynocom. there is the descrepancy

nobody is lying. different dynos typically give more favorable numbers. end of story.

I've heard of other stage 2 SRT's getting in the 270whp range on pump gas, and ~315wtq, so I'd say your guess of 260whp might be a little conservative..

i don't have exhaust yet, so that's why i guessed low. When I get that on, I'll see if I can get some dyno numbers from a different dyno.

Some of you guys are such dyno queens, the point of the dyno is to show you where you make power and how well tuned your car is ( powerband ). There's always going to be discrepancies between one dyno to another, even if you dyno your car on the same dyno again, it'll show difference in hp. The point to it is that you have a baseline of your car's power so you can compare next time you tune it or upgrade something etc.

Once again, its not "all" about HP..

Later.

^^^ you're right, and i plan on getting a bigger cat-back and a turbo inlet pipe so i want to see the difference. there is no real tuning in our cars. sure you can tweak the timing a little bit but not too much. so in this case it's about baselines and straight up power!

Best comment in the thread!

Both of you seem to be making respectable numbers and good work on that! You guys can battle the arguements about different dyno's until we all turn blue in the face, but that won't change the fact that they all perform differently.
