It's not just about the high numbers.. it's about the powerband and keeping the torque curve ( max accel ) as flat and as long as possible..

Yours is still untuned right? Cuz you're torque starts at like 3.3k ends before 4... Very short, but then again, I wouldn't complain if I had as much

funny thing is that i thought i was having boost issues after one of my relays went bad but maybe it's something else and all is fine.
i was boosting 18psi and holding at 15/16ish psi.

jim, i think it was a dynacom dyno?? i don't know, the shop JUST put this in about a month ago.

I'm with Justin thinking 220whp is a little high.. Thats alot of wheel horsepower for a K03 turbo, like almost an impossible amount.

^^ Don't get your panties all tied up again. You have GenDUB for that.

Anyways.... you mentioned that your boost levels were lower then usual.
A quick calculation of what a 1.8T motor with 17psi of boost @ 5500rpm should pump out, gives us 221whp. The problem comes in when we take into account your turbo. We all know that your k03 snail cannot flow enough air to support that output, so unless the snail has been upgraded, it doesn't seem feasable.

Did you upgrade the snail?
