Past bikes that I've settled on
![]() ![]() But the R6 is still the bike I will eventually be buying and enjoy. Great to see more girls getting into this type of sport. Ride on! ------------------ \"Be like water my friend\" |

I forgot about your restriction, and just because you cruise up to the track doesn't mean you need to run it!
![]() Oh well.... I had fun, and got to run against both a 06 CBR 600RR and some drag bike. |

How's the GS? The full fairing look is a great idea for this bike since every beginner like myself wants a supersport look but can't afford the insurance rates or the power of a supersport. ------------------ \"Be like water my friend\" |

If I was not working I would have made it down... stupid night shifts.
I have never dragged my bike, for one I have the WRONG gearing in it for launching. All she wants to do is stand up, awfully hard on the clutch to keep it on the deck. what times were your running? I would love a dirty bike, soooo much fun, I'd be dead in a week though. |

I was also taking it easy as I didn't want the front to slap me in the face in the first two gears. On my best run of the day, I actually pushed it hard and deep into 2nd gear, and when I grabbed 3rd, the front wheel hopped..... but I stayed on it. I think I can bust into the 10s if I practice my launches and get my 60's down into the 1.8s. It really is a blast, even if you don't run to the bike's full potential. I ran a guy with a 06 CBR 600 RR who had more runs under his belt. He was getting off the line way better then me. But at the end, I just flew by him. We were talking in the staging lane after that, and he said he couldn't believe the top end I had. (he was only trapping 120) I also talked to some other guy that was just killing me on his drag bike. He mentioned that he loved a slick and wheelie bars. I responded that I love riding to the track and then back home! ![]() |
