Do you have a dirtbike? I go riding with a buddy a few minutes east of Stratford, its private property but there is KM's of trails, and we go fairly often (went there yesterday and going again tonight) sorry cant post the location as its private property, however if you need a place to ride and your bike is reasonably qiuet were always looking for more. In KW the only place that I know of is the hydro cut from Kitchener to Petersbug, if you have a trailer or a dualsport bike, St. Williams (By turkey point) or Ganaraska Forest (My favorite) are both great places to ride where you can ride all day and never hit the same trail twice.

I got quoted $1900ish a year on the same bike as melissa's. Maybe when I get a lil older and loose a few more lbs. I think I'd look pretty fucking stupid on a bike right now.

I'm going to say that you're a single male, under 19.
Stick to bikes under 600cc until you get a little older!

Ok. now your talking to the master of the insurance problems. Ok #1, your not no damn superstar so if your getting insurnace quotes on a 1300 Busa, 1400 Kawi ninja or even a 1000 anythign give your head a shake or shit while your at it ask the broker how much to put a ferrari 360 is also. Now i have been pretty much been told to fuck off by every insurance company and even laughed at by some because of these crazy quotes that have been given. ex 12000-16000 and my highest yes in the 20 000+. OK the break down goes 250-599cc is one class. Now a 599cc goes for a first timers bike but hey its a 500 regardless (not fast enough). now 600-750cc is the other now 750cc you can do what you want 3rd gear highway wheelies you name it, if you push it hard enough. then your in the leader class, note you crazy punk who think your a bad ass this class is not for you , unless you have money to burn, then 1100cc plus your sending your brokers kids off to hawaii. There is a crack in the classing though if you get a bike with half fairings it is now a sport touring that kills those high rates big time , a TL1000S vs. a TL1000R same bike one has half fairing n not as much torque but you save huge. So use your head pick a bike that is in your range.
My insurance company who i recommend is:
Scott Tilfer
Pioneer insurance company
519-744-4481
I have a bad enough record and it is slowly going but the insurance rates he has are un beatable for a young rider

Some companies will just give ridiculous quotes so they don't have to insure a bike.. My godfather has an S4, 3 porsche's, an S10(for lugging the canoes around) and their house with one company, and they wouldn't even consider insuring his TL1000R when he picked it up.

Best thing is to call around until you find the most reasonable company.

Plainly I looked that up as a joke. I have no interest in bikes and knew I would get an outrageous price on the insurance, so step off Your high horse.

Yeah, True story, It's also good to explore bike only insurance companys'
especially after having sometime in the saddle i have heard of people who pay only 600 a year on a suzuki GSX-R 1000, But stay away from the prestige one's (ex: open road)<That's who gave me a quote of 18,000 a year plus I had to get a expensive alarm for it and a few other thing's.

IT'S BANANAS!

Lots of factors affect your insurance. Everything from gender, to age, to marital status, to insurance and driving record.

Obviously, different companies will get you different quotes!
