JDM 1.7" drops look soooooooooooooo much better than a 1.7" drop purchased from another company (and a tonne of bricks also weighs more than a tonne of feathers too, right?)

BTW Matski, you always drop mention the names of "high" end companies in every one of your posts now, but, just an FYI, Velox is right along the lines of BSA, American Racing, etc....they are a mass-produced entry level rim.

Fuck the names! Go for the STYLE you like. Im fucking sick of everyone nowadays ripping people up because of what center cap is on their wheel.

Damn. Im gonna by a 1984 Cadillac just so I can run around saying 'IM A CADDY OWNER!' Forget that the car is a POS...atleast I can chill on the caddy forums...

BTW, nice car. Lancers are a great bang-for-buck car with alot of potential and aftermarket support (which you will like since you are used to it from the j-body community)
Wow, someone's grouchy. Baby keeping you up?

I'm not gonna bicker about this, because quite frankly most people just won't get it. I will however say that your post is absolutely retarded.

I'll leave you with this: what kind of an idiot upgrades their suspension strictly for the "look"? Exactly.

Im not saying eBay, but, why does it have to be TEIN? Whats wrong with H&R, APEX, Eibach, etc...those are all great products too. Instead of suggesting TEINs, you shoulda suggested a 1.7" drop instead.
In terms of wheels, did you know that there is like only 4 wheel manufacturers in the world, so, lets do the math:
1000000000000000 wheel companies, half a dozen factories. That means, that a factory producing that 8-spoke bronze wheel for 'insert overpriced name here' also makes the same wheel for a company that sells it for a fraction of the price. $500 vs $299 for the same wheel but with a different center cap? That seems like an easy descion for me (especially if you buy a wheel based on LOOKS, and not name). Thats $800 you just saved (enough to buy good tires to put on those wheels)

Im not saying cheap out, but, it doesnt have to be a product available on Need For Speed Undergound or on the cover car of this months Honda Tunning.

Im all for buying quailty, but, I think suggesting a 'style' rather than a 'brand' would be better....

Actually that is very true about the wheel manufacturers and the number of wheels there actually are out there.

I was speaking to a woman that works at Rent A Tire.......and she told me that she ordered rims for a guy that cost 500/rim and then ordered different ones for another guy and they cost 200/rim...........and when they came it, they were litterally identical.

She said the only difference was that name on the center cap.
