Looking good. You have any plans for this car other than the motor swap? Going to drag race it or just keep it as a daily?

It will be getting lowered within the next month just because J-bodys sit up WAY to high stock.

i will also get a Short throw shifter, air intake, and polyurathane engine mounts, tranny mounts, and control arm bushings.

and yes i will race it a bit but it will be my Daily

its a 2.2l ecotec. the one i installed is from a 2004 Cavalier.

2.2 ecotec comes in pursuits, cobalts, G6 base, Saturn IONs.

2003-2005 Cavaliers and sunfires also

its 140hp 145ftlbs the 2.4 i took out was 150hp. 155ftlbs,

the ecotec is ALOT lighter as its is a aluminum block with Steel sleaves where the 2.4 had a cast iron block still

He doesn't need to make it look better, it is.

I bet the 2.2 has a much broader power curve as well.

Man that stock fuel rail is massive for stock I'll have to keep that in mind.

This is where you type a bunch of shit about how awesome your car is. FACT: It's been scientifically proven that the more shit you write in here the less cool your car is. Nine times out of ten the majority of people who talk shit down here don't even have any of the crap they talk about on their car. I drive an 8 year old domestic and barely give two shits about it. I beat the hell out of it and it begs for more, just like your girlfriend. Go ahead, cut me off. I dare ya.

^^ its not alot of work in the sunfire to do that. and i needed it on the road ASAP so stuff like that can wait.

but 13 hours total time invested in the swap. saftied today on the road tommorow

and yeah the 2.2 is alot better than the 2.4 the 2.4s always blow up like the one that was in this car lol #3 Rod bearing.
